THE SURROUNDINGS – CANYELLES PETITES – ROSES
Casdanna is set on a hillside with spectacular views over Canyelles Petites, a beautiful beach of fine golden sand.
The beach is around 350 metres long and 25 metres wide, with crystal-clear water and a gently sloping sandy seabed that is ideal for swimming. It is only about 150 metres away as the crow flies; the direct route follows a flight of steps and is approximately 250 metres on foot.

Canyelles is a peaceful, low-density residential area without large hotels or high-rise buildings. It is just 3 km from the centre of Roses (Girona, Costa Brava) and less than a 40-minute drive from the French border.
The bay opens towards the sea like a natural amphitheatre. White houses and small apartment buildings nestle among pine trees and oleanders on its sunlit slopes. Here, the Costa Brava is far removed from crowded promenades, mass tourism and large all-inclusive hotel complexes.
Casdanna stands beside the Cap de Creus Natural Park, an area of exceptional beauty where distinctive geology has shaped the landscape.
The park’s rugged shoreline fully lives up to the name Costa Brava: this coast is genuinely wild. Where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean, sea and mountains create numerous unspoilt beaches and coves with crystal-clear water, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving.
